The amount of flour needed will depend on how much leftover mash you have. The above quantities give you an idea of the ratio of mash to flour.
Add the flour to the mash and mix well, you should have a dough like texture which is easy to manage and not sticky
Grab a large chopping board and cover with a bit of flour, so it doesn't stick when you roll it
Roll the mixture out to about 2-3mm thick (depends how you like your tatties!)
Grab a small plate or saucer and cut around it to make a nice circle
Then cut into even wedges
Prick the wedges with a fork
Put a little bit of oil in a pan on a medium heat
Cook the scones for 4-5mins each side (keep an eye on them, they should be a lovely golden brown)
Serve with a pinch of salt and vegan butter
